About CIPRA
China International Public Relations Association (CIPRA), set up in April 1991 as a corporate body and headquartered in

Major Missions:
Engaging in the PR theories study & practice, and strategy-making for PR industry in
Raising the social position of PR industry and PR practitioners, and protecting legitimate rights and interests of PR practitioners, and fostering the use of ethical public relations;
Providing comprehensive services and training programme for its members, and promoting the cooperation among PR organizations both at home and abroad, and developing the process of professionalization, standardization and internationalization of PR industry in China;
Developing the public diplomacy and opening broad channels for international exchanges and cooperation, and providing consulting services for local and foreign organizations , so as to serve for the further reform & opening up and economic construction of
Directly under CIPRA, there are Academic Committee, PR Corporations Working Committee, In House Committee and Local Organization Committee, which involve more elites such as famous scholars in PR circle, well-known entrepreneurs, and presidents of top PR corporations and leaders of provincial and municipal PR associations.
Secretariat:
Under the secretariat, there are Membership Management Section, Foreign Exchange & Cooperation Section, Research & Development Section, Information and Consulting Section, Education and Training Section, Human Resource Department and Administrative Office. CIPRA invites a large number of senior government officials, senior editors and journalists, senior managers of famous enterprises, and distinguished PR experts and scholars as its council members.
The office of PR Committee of State Occupational Qualification Working Commission is set in the Secretariat.
